Richard Leacock
Actor

Richard Leacock is an award winning actor who has appeared in film, television and stage. Starting with his first appearance on 21 Jump St, he has a career that has spanned many years. Richard starred on the tv series DOC with Billy Ray Cyrus for 5 seasons. He has also appeared in The X Files, The Dead Zone, Stargate, Saving God with Ving Rhames and the feature film A Boy called Po.

On stage Richard has portrayed Rev Jesse Jackson in the play The Dream Continues, which showcased Martin Luther King’s non violent philosophy and the role of Louis McKay in Lady Sings the Blues. He has appeared in tv series, Good Trouble, and NBC’s Good Girls. He has also appeared in the Paramount TV series Star Trek Picard, the feature Grace and Grit and the recently released feature Desert Shadows. Richard also recently appeared in an episode of Fox’s 911 television series. He's also recently completed principal photography for a short film that he wrote and produced called The Hardway that he starred in with his brother Viv Leacock.

Dr. Michelle Thaller
Scientist and Communicator

Dr. Michelle Thaller is an astronomer, astrophysicist, and one of NASA's most recognized science communicators. With a career spanning more than two decades, she has dedicated her life to helping people understand their profound connection to the universe. Whether through public speaking, media appearances, or outreach across NASA centers, she brings clarity, wonder, and humanity to some of the most complex questions in science.

Michelle began her journey in astrophysics with a PhD focused on the evolution of binary star systems. Her research foundation led her into roles at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where she supported missions, scientific outreach, and public engagement. Over the years, she has become a trusted voice for astronomy and space science, blending rigorous scientific expertise with compelling storytelling.

Her work has appeared in documentaries, podcasts, and television programs on The Science Channel, History Channel, Discovery, National Geographic, NPR, and numerous international platforms. Known for her ability to make science feel accessible, emotional, and deeply meaningful, Michelle continues to inspire audiences worldwide.

At the heart of her mission is a simple belief: science is a story—and every one of us is part of it. Through her talks, writing, and public presence, she invites people to explore the beauty of the cosmos and see their place in it with new eyes.

Simon Swart
Producer, Filmmaker

Simon Swart is an independent film and television producer and entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience developing, financing, selling, distributing, and marketing premium entertainment across the global marketplace.

During his studio career, Simon held senior leadership roles at major Hollywood studios, including running a multi billion dollar division at 20th Century Fox. In that capacity, he worked closely with some of the most influential filmmakers of his generation and helped guide the worldwide release of some of the most successful franchises and critically acclaimed films in modern cinema, including Star Wars, Avatar, X Men, Planet of the Apes, Napoleon Dynamite, Black Swan, and Slumdog Millionaire.

Simon has since built a successful career as an independent producer, with a focus on elevated, story driven films that balance commercial appeal with emotional impact. His producing credits include I Can Only Imagine, the Netflix hit I Am All Girls released in 2021, Redeeming Love, released by Universal Pictures in 2022, and Lionsgate’s Boy Kills World, released in 2024.

Today, Simon is the founder and principal of Woodlands Avenue Media, a creator led production company focused on developing and producing premium feature films, series, and franchise IP with global reach. Woodlands Avenue operates as both an IP incubator and a production platform, partnering with top creative talent, financiers, and distributors to bring culturally resonant, audience forward stories to market.

Projects currently in development under the Woodlands Avenue Media banner include All In, based on the bestselling book by Mark Batterson, The John Wooden Story, a character driven sports drama centered on the formative years of the legendary UCLA coach, and Gamechanger, the inspiring true story behind the creation of the game Pictionary.

Richard Joel
405 Productions

Richard Joel is President and founder of 405 Productions Inc. He is an Emmy Nominated and Rose D’or award-winning, TV Creator/Writer/Executive Producer and an award-winning Film Producer. He has worked in all areas of production and development and brings a strong business and creative process to all sides of this business. Including Scripted TV / Film as well as the creation of original formats, competition and game shows for the domestic and international markets.

Richard was Head of Alternative TV Development & Production for Wildrice Productions where he created, developed, and sold an array of projects including the original game show format, Heads or Tails, which aired in the UK. For the next 3 years he served as Head of Alternative TV Development & Production for Muse Entertainment, USA.

Richard then founded 405 Productions Inc. He served as Co-Creator, Executive Producer and Writer on the hit CW game show and Rose D’or winner, “Oh Sit!” and Producer/Writer on “You've Been Had...Celebrity Edition!” (AMAZON).

On the scripted side, Richard is an Executive Producer on Saurus City, a stop motion animated feature film starring Dennis Quaid, Emma Roberts, Ron Perlman, Tim Meadows, and Julia Ormond. Richard is developing a series based on the bestselling YA sci-fi books, The Atlantis Grail, from award-winning author Vera Nazarian.

Previously, Richard produced the Amazon 2014, 2017, 2018 Emmy Nominated “Best Digital Drama” series, “Tainted Dreams,” produced the multi-award winning SYFY pilot, “99 Problems,” Produced “The Candle,” a multi-award-winning short horror film / proof of concept and was Show-runner/EP on “Before We Go.”

Richard graduated Arizona State University with a BS in Business. He is a member of the WGA, PGA, The TV Academy and SAG-AFTRA. He makes the best BBQ Cajun Honey Pineapple ribs, Old Fashions and Chocolate Espresso Martini’s and is a die-hard LA sports fan.

Deena Dill
Producer, Actress, Writer

Deena Dill is an award-winning producer, executive producer, writer, creator, and actress with a track record of developing premium content across major networks and studios. A Rose d'Or Award winner for Best International Game Show (Oh Sit! on The CW in association with Warner Horizon Television), her production credits include high-stakes competition, film and tv, acclaimed documentaries for Sundance TV, multiple festival-winning pilots, and annual live sportscasts for CBS/ESPN.

Most recently, Dill produced the animated feature Saurus City starring Dennis Quaid, Ron Perlman, Emma Roberts, Tim Meadows, Aimee Garcia, and Julia Ormond.

As an actress, Dill is a prolific talent with recurring series roles on Netflix, HBO, ABC, CBS, OWN, and Nickelodeon. She recently recurred on Netflix's drama series The Waterfront opposite Maria Belo and Holt McCalany and starred in the Lifetime Murder in Music City for Lifetime. Previously Dill recurred on OWN's Ambitions, HBO's Vice Principals, ABC's Suburgatory, and Nickelodeon's iCarly. A few of her other acting credits include The English Teacher, Queen Sugar, Dynasty, Scandal, Two and a Half Men, Bones, CSI:NY, Dirty Grandpa, and many others. She also produced and hosted the seven-season series, Doc Talk, for the Documentary Channel and Sundance TV.

Dill is a member of the PGA, SAG/AFTRA, WGA, and The TV Academy. She graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University where she was an NCAA Division I triple jumper and 100-meter hurdler.

Deena volunteers for the NEA’s Read Across America program, the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital, and she is on the Board of Directors of the South Carolina Special Olympics.

Steven L. Sears
Screenwriter/Producer/Author

Beginning his career as an actor, Steven L. Sears moved on to be a Writer, Story Editor, Producer and Creator in Television, Film, digital media, and animation.

His TV series include Hardcastle & McCormick, Stingray, Walker-Texas Ranger, Highwayman, Hollywood Detective, Grand Slam, Jesse Hawkes, Superboy, S.H.E. Spies and other Television favorites.

He produced Swamp Thing for USA, Raven for CBS, was Co-Executive Producer of Xena, co-created Sheena for Sony/TriStar Television, and has had many pilot and development deals with the major studios.

He wrote the Non-User Friendly Guide for Aspiring TV Writers, co-created the graphic novel Stalag-X with Kevin J. Anderson, and has stories in such anthologies as Jeff Sturgeon's Last Cities of Earth and Alien Vs. Predators: Ultimate Prey.

Rob Gordon
Actor, Producer, Stand-up Comic

Rob Gordon, born and raised in Washington, D.C., found his love for comedy and laughter early on. At Hampton University, where he graduated with an MBA in Architecture, he took his natural talent and bold personality to the stage performing his first stand-up set. Since, he's won top talent competitions and eventually landed his very own stand-up special for Amazon, titled "pROBlematic."

Rob has been featured in national commercials for brands like Guinness and The General. Additionally, you can catch him on the big screen in the BET film "Holiday Heartbreak" and MarVista's "Christmas Lottery." More recently, see him in his series regular role for the upcoming tv series "Hush," airing on ALLBLK this fall. Undoubtedly Rob is steadily becoming a Hollywood go to!

Jessica Marchbank
Vocalist, Narrator

Jessica Marchbank (also known as Lu Banks) is a classically trained vocalist based in Bloomington, Indiana. She spends her days working in social services and her nights in her professional home studio, bringing stories to life with her clear, warm voice and energetic spirit. With more than 100 audiobooks narrated to date, Jessica combines unbridled enthusiasm for long hours at the microphone with a meticulous attention to detail that she brings to every project. Each book feels like a new world to explore and an opportunity to serve as a bridge between the writer's vision and the listener's imagination.

Her voice has been described as sincere, grounded, and soothing, with an emotional authenticity that draws listeners in. With roots in classical singing and a background that spans performance, storytelling, and vocal nuance, audiobook narration feels like a natural home. Whether embodying complex characters or guiding listeners through nonfiction narratives, Jessica approaches every project with curiosity, craft, and deep respect for the story being told.

Fun facts: she has explored 1800s outhouse pits in search of hidden historical treasures — and her very first job as a teenager was serving as a tour guide at the Jesse James Museum in Missouri.

Bridget Landry
Scientist

Bridget Landry has worked on robotic space missions for over 30 years, including the Hubble Space Telescope, Mars Pathfinder, the Cassini mission to Saturn and the Curiosity rover. In addition, she has been attending and working cons since she was 13 and is a Master-level costumer with a twisted sense of humor.

She is the Science Guest of Honor at Seattle WorldCon in 2025.

Dahlia Waingort Guigui
Producer, Actor, Production Manager

Dahlia Waingort Guigui is COO (Chief Operating Officer), Co-founder of Sunset Entertainment.

Member of the Producers Guild of America and SAG-AFTRA. Formidable Award winning Producer, Post-Production Supervisor, UPM and Financing Consultant.

Dahlia’s accomplishments include the award-winning documentaries "Blackfish", "Newman", "Hero With A Thousand Faces", "Stronger For Life", and "American Pot Story."

Dahlia Produced the award-winning feature films "Sweetwater", "9/11", "The Bronx Bull", and hit thriller "Beneath the Darkness".

Dahlia has performed at London's National Theatre production of Twelfth Night, John Anson Ford Theatre's production of Much Ado About Nothing.

She is best known for her starring role alongside Ann-Margaret and Sonia Braga as a series regular on the CBS series "Four Corners. Dahlia recently starred in "Selfie Dad" and "The Muppets" for Disney. Dahlia graduated from England's Oxford School of Drama.

Michael G. Kehoe
Filmmaker, Writer, Director, Producer

Michael G. Kehoe is an award-winning independent filmmaker and graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. His debut short film, "Second Dance", received critical acclaim and was selected for both the Sundance and Berlin Film Festivals. While at Sundance, he was approached by Prism Entertainment to direct his original action thriller "Dominion", now available on Amazon Prime. He went on to direct and produce the award-winning short drama "Now Departing", followed by a feature film noir thriller "The Art of a Bullet", which achieved strong success in international markets. Kehoe established a production services company that supported multimillion-dollar studio films in Hollywood and abroad, including the Mission: Impossible franchise and J.J. Abrams' Star Trek films. He also developed and directed "Catering Impossible" for the Food Network, a special featuring Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames, Maggie Q, and Laurence Fishburne. The project launched a slate of successful series for the network, including Dinner Impossible, Restaurant Impossible, and Hotel Impossible.

His work in genre filmmaking includes "The Dark Agent", a dark superhero short that won an award at Comic-Con, and the horror feature "The Hatred" (2017), produced by the producer of the Halloween franchise team. The film originated from his short "Hush", which earned 34 awards worldwide and a nomination for the prestigious Wes Craven Award. He’s in development with producer Richard Joel on "Christmas Eve, Again".

In addition to features, Kehoe has developed several sci-fi proof-of-concepts, including The Inseparables, "The Other One", and "99 Problems", the latter of which has garnered more than 120 international awards. He's in active development on his original high octane action spy thriller titled "Delilah" to be shot entirely in Spain. Currently, Kehoe is in pre-production on a horror thriller: "Chester's Awakening", written by longtime friend and actor Jason Gedrick, and in active development on his original high octane action spy thriller titled "Delilah" to be shot entirely in Spain.

Kehoe has now ventured into the vertical format and is set to direct an action spy thriller series for producer Tommy Harper over seas. Kehoe has also performed as an actor in several films, the latest he played the lead in a thriller "Valley of the Horntak" and a family comedy "Kangaroo Kids".

Craig Martelle has published over 200 books and has sold over a million copies in his favorite genres of Science Fiction and Thrillers. He has also run the largest indie author conferences in the world along with the group that has changed innumerable authors’ lives for the better. He retired from the US Marine Corps a long time ago. Then he earned a law degree and did that for a while before turning to writing full time as of October 2015.

Vera Nazarian
Author, Novelist

Vera Nazarian is the author of The Atlantis Grail series, historical (Renaissance) epic fantasy trilogy Cobweb Bride, and other science fiction and fantasy novels and short works.

As a double refugee, after immigrating from the USSR during the Cold War, and then escaping from the Civil War in Lebanon (by way of Greece), she spent 35 years in Los Angeles, California. She now lives with several wacky cats in a small town in Vermont and uses her Armenian sense of humor and her Russian sense of suffering to bake conflicted pirozhki and make art.
